We are two sisters, Despoina and Iliana, alike in many ways but also quite different. Art has always been a source of expression, communication, and a way for us to approach reality from a different perspective. In 2016, our meeting, connection, and friendship with a mentor, the artist P., inspired us and sparked the beginning of our journey into the world of macramé art. This encounter led us to attempt creating jewelry that existed only in our imagination. The magic of how a spool and a few stones can transform into a unique piece of jewelry has been and continues to be a constant challenge for us. Knot by knot, 2Galsart was formed to give life to our dreams.
Due to our different temperaments, our designs vary in style, as you will notice in our collections. That’s why you can relate to the boho, ethnic, minimal, or simpler and more timeless elements in our jewelry.
Our goal is to create jewelry with imagination and love, meant to be worn in all aspects of everyday life, brightening even the darkest of your days!
